Black Stars coach Otto Addo says they are hoping to execute their game plan well against Comoros on Sunday, October 12.
Ghana will host Comoros in their final game in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The four-time African champions need just a point to seal their qualification for the Mundial, which will be co-hosted in the USA, Canada and Mexico, after whalloping Central African Republic 5-0.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the 49-year-old, who is on the verge of qualifying Ghana for a back-to-back World Cup, stressed that he is not interested in personal accolades but rather focused on getting the needed results.
According to him, the playing body and the technical team are hoping to get their game plan right against their opponents.
“I’m not thinking about records. It’s always about teamwork. Full focus to win, and that is what I’m thinking about," Addo said.
"In the last match, the players did very well, and we are hoping to execute our plan in the Comoros game very well.
"That is the focus. We will do everything to secure the qualification on Sunday,” he added.
Kick off for the game is scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
Ghana is aiming to qualify for their fifth World Cup, following previous appearances in 2006 (Germany), 2010 (South Africa), 2014 (Brazil), and 2022 (Qatar).
