Ebenezer Adu-kwaw climbed off the bench to curl in a free-kick which won CK Akunnor his first silverware as Gor Mahia Head Coach in Friday’s 1-0 win over Bandari FC in the final of the ODM@20 Tournament.
The new signing produced his magic in the in the 64th minute when he curled a stunning 35-yard free kick over the wall and into the top corner past Bandari goalkeeper Levis Opiyo.
Gor Mahia booked their place in the final after a 4–3 on penalty shoot-out victory over Shabana FC.
This was after knotting a 1-1 scoreline.
Akunnor was appointed before the start of the season and this is a massive achievement in his coaching career.
