Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has declared that Ghana's unity makes them unstoppable after their emphatic 5-0 victory over Central African Republic in the World Cup qualifiers.
The Crystal Palace forward, who was among the scorers in Wednesday's crucial match, emphasised that the team's collective spirit was the foundation of their dominant performance in Morocco.
"With the determination and motivation we had today, whoever was on the pitch against us would've lost," Ayew stated. "From the first minute, we were at it. When we scored the first goal, we were all happy, united, and playing as brothers â and this is what I want to see. If we keep this commitment and attitude, no one can stop us."
The comprehensive victory sees Ghana maintain their position at the top of Group I with 22 points, needing just one point from their final match against Comoros on Sunday to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
Goals from Mohammed Salisu, Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, Ayew, and Kamaldeen Sulemana demonstrated the team's attacking prowess and collective effort, putting Ghana within touching distance of their fifth World Cup appearance.
