
Atalanta forward Kamaldeen Sulemana has indicated that he is keen on scoring more goals for the Black Stars after opening his account in Ghana’s emphatic 5-0 victory against Central African Republic.
The former FC Nordsjaelland talisman climbed off the bench on Wednesday to grab his debut goal for the Black Stars after he was teed up by LA Galaxy forward Joseph Paintsil.
Speaking after the game, Kamaldeen Sulemana, who made his debut for the Black Stars on October 9, 2020, stated that he is delighted he has finally scored his first goal for the national team after five years.
The attacker was quick to add that he is determined to score more for the Black Stars in the future.
“I really appreciate the support from Ghanaians. This is my first goal, and it means a lot to me. There’s more to come,” Sulemana assured.
Following Ghana’s 5-0 victory against Central African Republic, the Black Stars are set to qualify for a fifth FIFA World Cup tournament.
The Stars top Group I with 22 points, three more than Madagascar in second, ahead of their final qualification match against Comoros on Sunday, October 12.
