Antoine Semenyo’s personal skills coach, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, believes it is only a matter of time before the Bournemouth and Ghana forward moves to a major European club.
Isaksson-Hurst, who has worked closely with the 25-year-old for several years, says Semenyo’s rapid rise in the Premier League proves he has the quality to play at the highest level â including the UEFA Champions League.
“It is a matter of time,” Isaksson-Hurst said, suggesting that Semenyo’s development and mentality set him apart. “He will end up at a big club.”
Semenyo has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season, producing six goals and three assists in just seven appearances.
His latest display â a brace and an assist in Bournemouth’s 3-1 comeback win over Fulham â earned him widespread praise and helped propel Andoni Iraola’s side to fourth place in the table.
The Ghana international, now in his fourth season with Bournemouth, appears to be hitting his peak after signing a new five-year contract in July.
His form has not only strengthened the Cherries’ attack but also reignited transfer speculation linking him with several of England’s top sides.
Reports suggest Chelsea are preparing a £78 million bid, while Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest.
Despite the growing rumours, Semenyo remains focused on maintaining his impressive start to the season.
The former Bristol City forward revealed earlier that he “did not feel wanted enough” to leave the Vitality Stadium during the summer transfer window.
However, his performances since then have firmly established him as one of Bournemouth’s most influential players and one of Africa’s most exciting attacking prospects.
With his blend of pace, strength, and directness, Semenyo has evolved into a complete forward capable of changing games single-handedly.
If his current trajectory continues, a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs may soon be inevitable â just as his coach predicts.
