
Ghana international Alidu Seidu has shared his excitement following his return to the Black Stars team ahead of the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Seidu, who [lies his trade for Stade Rennes was named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming games against Central African Republic and Comoros, marking his return to the team after a long injury lay-off.
The tough-tackling defender had been sidelined for months with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries that ruled him out of international duty.
Seidu has worked his way back into full fitness and has been a consistent performer since the start of the season.
However, the former Clermont Foot defender has expressed his joy after making a return to the Black Stars team after long absence.
“Thank you all for the support and words of encouragement during my injury. I am happy to be back to the team” he said.
Ghana sit top of Group I, needing just four points from the two matches to secure qualification for the World Cup to be staged in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
