Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah remains confident about his future prospects with the Ghana national team despite being overlooked for the Black Stars' upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The 23-year-old striker, who has started the new season impressively with a goal in Kotoko's opening league game and two crucial goals in their CAF Confederation Cup victory over Kwara United, expressed his support for those selected while maintaining belief in his own abilities.
"I feel okay. I want to congratulate everyone who got called and we are supporting them," Amoah stated after Kotoko's goalless draw with Heart of Lions. "I know my time will come."
With regular starter Kwame Opoku currently sidelined by injury, Amoah is poised to lead Kotoko's attack in their upcoming match against defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars on Wednesday.
His performances this season, particularly in continental competition, have already sparked discussions among fans about his potential for national team recognition.
The former Accra Great Olympics player maintains a patient outlook, focusing on his club contributions while keeping his Black Stars ambition alive.
