The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Karim Zito, has disclosed that his team is aiming to win every home match in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors kicked off their league campaign on September 13 with a 1-0 victory against Berekum Chelsea.
The Kumasi-based outfit will play their first home match of the season this weekend when they take on Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Karim Zito indicated that he has psyched his players to go for a win in every home match this season and will be fighting for the three points in the upcoming contest.
“I have talked to my boys to forget about Africa for now and focus on this game. On the table every home match should be a win. This is the mentality we are going to meet them with,” Zito told AKSC Media.
The highly anticipated clash between Asante Kotoko and Heart of Lions will be played on Sunday, October 5.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
