Joseph Paintsil has been boosted by his hat-trick performance for Los Angeles Galaxy ahead of their game against Toluca in the Campeone Cup final.
The in-form Ghanaian, who scored a treble against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, is expected to lead the line for the MLS champions when they host the Mexican outfit on Wednesday.
Paintsil is hoping to win his second title with LA Galaxy and believes the game against Toluca came at the right time.
“Yeah, it also adds confidence also to my game, but I also have the confidence to also play these kind of games, like the Campeones Cup game. It's something that I'm waiting for to give everything," he said.
"I think this hat trick really boost my confidence. For that, I will just take it into the game on Wednesday and to give everything and the team gives everything and we just see whatever will happen," he added.
Paintsil has scored 13 goals and delivered three assists across all competitions for LA Galaxy this season.
