Asante Kotoko will face Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club in the second round of qualifiers in the CAF Confederation Cup after eliminating Nigerian side Kwara United.
The Porcupine Warriors travelled to Abeokuta to beat Kwara United 1-0 and secure a 5-3 aggregate victory to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Kotoko will host the former African champions on October 17 in the first leg before travelling to Casablanca a week later for the second leg.
The winner of the two-legged encounter will progress to the group stage of the competition.
Wydad did not participate in the preliminary round after they were drawn bye and will make their first appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup this season against the Kumasi-based giants.
Both clubs have rich history on the continent with Kotoko winning two African Cups while Wydad have been more successful in recent years. They were one of the clubs that represented Africa at the newly-expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
Asante Kotoko will return to action next Sunday, where they face Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
