Top radio and TV sports presenter, Alex Kobina Stonne,popularly known in the media space as Kobby Stonne, is set to embark on a media tour in the United States of America (USA) and engage with stakeholders in the sports industry.
This transformative trip is aimed at fostering professional collaborations and experiences with the vibrant sporting cultures in the USA. This would include connections with sports enthusiasts, media professionals, sports administrators, and coaches among others.
The initiative, which is under the auspices of his entity Nkraatasem, in collaboration with Go Ghana LLC and KMK Group, a sports and business tourism consultancy based in the United States, will facilitate the media tour of some of the biggest media houses in the USA.
The Multimedia journalist and member of the Asempa Sports team will visit CNN, Fox News Channel, and Voice of America. He will also have the opportunity to meet some of the stakeholders of the sports fraternity at the Dallas Sports Commission and gather firsthand information and experiences about their preparations for the 2026 World Cup to be staged in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Kobby Stonne has made a significant impact in the Ghanaian sports journalism space over the past decade delivering compelling stories, interviews, and analysis whilst travelling across the globe to cover international tournaments including the World Cup in Qatar 2022, and the European Champions League finals 2023.
Additionally, his in-depth knowledge of multiple sports disciplines coupled with his insightful breakdown as a commentator makes him one of the most sought-after in the industry. It is therefore not surprising that global giants like CNN and Fox will be opening their doors to him.
There will also be an after-party dinner at the Wharf. KobbyStonne, the host of Ghana’s biggest sports betting show Agoronie Agoronie will cover several major cities including DMV, Atlanta, Ohio, Texas, Colorado, Miami, and California.
Ghanaian sportsmen and women based in the United States of America will have the opportunity to be placed on the global sports map with an interview session with the versatile sports Journalist.
