Manchester United have no intention of loaning England midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Kobbie Mainoo to another club this summer.
According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, Mainoo and his camp have made it clear to the club that he wants to secure a temporary move away to get regular game time.
In a series of posts on social media on Thursday, August 28, Romano said the youngster does not want to leave Old Trafford on a permanent deal and only prefers a loan move to aid his development.
Manchester United, on the other hand, have no intention of letting the 20-year-old depart.
AS a result, the club has rejected Kobbie Mainoo’s request for a loan move.
The club believes Mainoo has an important role to play this season and want him to remain and fight for his place in Ruben Amorim’s squad.
It is understood that the club and the player’s camp are currently at an impasse, but Mainoo is not expected to force his way out.
