Ghana international Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer is set to seal a move to French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice.
The forward per sources will depart German club Hamburger SV to sign as new OGC Nice player in the coming days.
According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 23-year-old has already reached full agreement on personal terms with the Ligue 1 outfit.
His current club, Hamburger SV, is now in the final stages of negotiations and is set to receive a reported â¬6 million for the transfer.
Königsdörffer, whose contract with HSV was set to run until the summer of 2026, was one of the club’s standout attackers last season.
His departure marks a sporting blow for the German side, just as they gear up for another push toward Bundesliga promotion.
The news of his imminent exit has overshadowed HSV’s announcement of assistant coach Merlin Polzin’s contract extension, highlighting the significance of Königsdörffer’s role at the club.
For the winger, a move to OGC Nice will provide a new adventure that could take his career to the next level.
He will hope to excel in France to ensure his regular invitation to the Black Stars.
