

Corporal Raymond Amegashie who is currently with the Tema Police Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT) was arrested while he was on his way to the Volta Region after escaping initial arrest.
Police in Accra have arrested a police officer who is suspected to be the leader of a robbery gang that attacked and robbed a supermarket in Nungua in the Greater Accra Region.
Corporal Raymond Amegashie who is currently with the Tema Police Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT) was arrested while he was on his way to the Volta Region after escaping initial arrest.

According to the police, he was arrested with three other suspects after they allegedly attacked and stole GHc 54,000 from the Asante supermarket.
The police also retrieved two AK47s from Corporal Amegashie.
The suspects will soon be put before the court as investigations continue.
