Politics: Explosion reported at New York City's Port Authority Bus Terminal

Police are reportedly investigating an explosion at Port Authority Bus Terminal.

New York City's official emergency notification channel reported police activity at Port Authority, a massive transit hub in Midtown Manhattan, on Monday morning.

Immediately after reports of an explosion surfaced, pictures of a police bomb-squad truck that reportedly arrived at the scene popped up on social media.

Police told AM New Yorker that the building was being evacuated, and that the blast took place around 7:25 a.m. ET.
