Erik X is facing trial in that country for allegedly raping a woman at knife point in front of his boyfriend.
He was assigned to the psychiatrist to be examined for mental illness.
The rape incident happened in April in Bonn and it is said to have shocked Germans because of its harrowing details
After killing his brother-in-law, he fled to Germany through Italy.
Ten (10) days to the rape incident, Erik X got deportation notice from German authorities.
The lawyer of the 32-year-old Ghanaian, Martin Moersdorf, has refused to comment on both the rape incident and the murder of his in-law.

Moersdorf said: “We discussed the case, discussed the evidence, but at the present time I advised my client not to comment on the allegation.”
The trial of Erik X is set to start on September 25.
