Cannibalism Case: Man ‘tired of eating human flesh’ hands himself over to the police

One of the suspects handed himself over to police last Friday and said he was “tired of eating human flesh.”

Four suspects have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with a cannibalism case in South Africa.

The man gave police part of a human leg and hand as proof, Enca has reported.

The four suspects appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate's Court in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday August 21, 2017.

The suspects are all in their thirties.

They allegedly killed a woman, cut her up and ate parts of her body.

Police are investigating suspicions the suspects also tampered with graves for humanparts.

They remain in custody until a possible bail application next Monday.
