Newly Promoted Premier League side announce the agreement of personal terms with Black Stars striker Raphael Dwamena
Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena is set to sign for newly promoted English Premier League side Brighton Hove Albion.
Reports indicated Brighton Hove Albion were in pursuit of the FC Zurich striker earlier on in the transfer window.
However, there had been an earlier bid of £8 million rejected. Talks are now advancing as Dwamena has agreed terms with Brighton Hove & Albion subject to medical and issuance of work permit.
The news has been confirmed by the club's official website with a statement reading:
"Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that the club has reached agreement with FC Zurich for the permanent transfer of Ghanaian international, Raphael Dwamena, subject to work permit and international clearance.
"The 21-year-old striker has also agreed personal terms with the club and is now awaiting clearance to travel to the UK for his medical."

Dwamena has scored 14 goals in 18 appearances for his side and fans of the “Sea Gulls” will hope to have him replicate his form to get help the side stay up.
Brighton have played two games in the ongoing English Premier League and have gone through without finding a goal at the back of the net.

The team will need to get a striker and fast which Dwamena foots the bill.
On Sunday, Brighton broke their transfer record for the third time this summer by completing a move for Colombia winger Jose Izquierdo from Club Brugge in a £13.5m deal.
This could be a sign of intent to rectify the problems they have faced this season with to 2-0 losses coming to Manchester City and Leciester City. This came in home and away fixtures respectively
Dwamena will be under Irish manager Chris Hughton who is of Ghanaian decent.
He also joins Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Christian Atsu, Daniel Amartey and Jeffery Schlupp as contigent in the Premier League
