The boxer has labeled Countryman Songo “a wee smoker”, threatening to beat him up if he continues to denigrate him on his show.
IBO lightweight champion, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has issued a strong warning to radio presenter Patrick Osei Agyemang, popularly known as Contryman Songo, threatening to beat him up for certain disparaging comments.
Multimedia journalist Songo – who is the host of sports show ‘Fire for Fire’ on Asempa FM – is known for his aggressive style of tackling issues, with his show generating much controversy over the years.

The presenter was recently engaged in a war of words with Asamoah Gyan following the Black Stars captain’s shock return to penalty-taking duties in a friendly game against USA last week.
However, he has now incurred the anger of Emmanuel Tagoe after reportedly calling into question the boxer’s abilities.
Tagoe is currently under the Babyjet Promotions which is owned by Asamoah Gyan, and he has threatened to beat up Songo if he continues to speak ill of him.
According to him, the radio presenter lacks respect and must be put in his rightful place.
“That Country Man Songo who sit on Radio and television to insult people with the aim of entertaining people; he speaks anyhow and attack people without respect,” Tagoe is quoted as saying by rainbowradioonline.com.

“If my boss BabyJet due to respect has not responded to his utterances due to his [BabyJet’s] level; if he insults the likes of the Coach of the Black Stars and they don’t mind him, he should not bring that to my doorstep.
“We the boxers are crazier than he [Songo] is. He should not be insulting me on his show and claim that I am not strong. If I am weak, can he fight me? We the boxers are crazier than he is.
“I will not entertain his insults. He smokes wee to behave the way he does and aside that, he gets people to support him. He should concentrate on the Black Stars, he should not do that to boxers.
“I don’t blame him; I blame those who gave him the opportunity to host their show. I will beat him wherever I meet him.”
