

Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
It was a day of sorrow when mourners and other sympathisers joined the family of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama at his residence in Burma Camp in Accra to mark the one-week observation of the passing of their son.
Former government from the John Mahama-led administration including Ms Hanna Tetteh, former Foreign Affairs Minister, former Attorney General, Ms Betty Mould Iddrisu, and Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Ms Dzifa Ablah Gomashie were present at the ceremony.
Personnel from national security including the immediate past Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Air Marshall Samson-Oje were also at the residence of the murdered soldier.
Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents in a town in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region.
He was killed on suspicion of being an armed robber.
