Newcastle United have announced completing a four-year permanent deal with Christian Atsu after his season long loan term
Atsu joined Newcastle last summer on loan from Chelsea FC. He has fought for a place in the Rafael Benitez side, bagging five goals in 32 appearances to help Newcastle emerge champions of the English second tier league and gain promotion back to the topflight.
The transfer is subject to Atsu successfully reapplying for a work permit.
Manager Benítez said: "We are happy to sign a good player.
