
A lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus, became the proud winner of a new Suzuki Alto car from MoneyGram Ghana at 60 Promotion.
Winifred Koranteng Darkwa won her car prize after receiving a money transfer on MoneyGram at UBA Tanoso branch in Kumasi.
The Suzuki Alto car comes with one-year comprehensive insurance. Her prize brings to two, the number of people that have won cars since the promotion started.
Four individuals; Bawa Abubakari, Veronica Adjei Sarpong, Vida Addai and Janet Yaa Achia, also received Simbo electric grill electronic items prizes, which they won when they received MoneyGram transactions at the UBA Tanoso Branch.
As part of the promotion, customers who received money transfer through MoneyGram at participating MoneyGram partners bank/locations would be given a scratch card and they would be presented with any item on the card after they had scratched.
A representative of MoneyGram, Ato Baiden, said MoneyGram has introduced the promotion to reward their loyal customers as part of Ghana’s 60th Independence Anniversary.
Love Oduro won the first Suzuki Alto car at the ADB Nungua branch in Accra. There are six cars in total and 200 consolation prizes would be presented to lucky MoneyGram customers during the promotion.
The UBA Tanoso Branch Manager, Daniel Kofi Boamah, congratulated the winners and urged customers to continuously receive their MoneyGram transfers through his bank.
“My bank is a lucky bank so do business with us and win in the MoneyGram promotion,” he said.
