Why are many Africans wallowing in abject poverty?

In my candid opinion, majority of Africans are wallowing in abject poverty not because Africa does not have enough resources to help majority of her children enjoy moderate comfort; but because, Africa is operating a system of government that does not financially benefit majority of Africans.
