
The 2025 Haji Taskforce has announced March 13, 2025, as the final deadline for payment of the Hajj package.
“No extension will be made to this deadline and therefore both would-be pilgrims and agents are admonished to operate with this deadline in mind as this is in the supreme interest of all,” a statement issued in Accra and copied The Ghanaian Times said.
It said the decision follows directives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aimed at ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage process for this year.

The taskforce urges all prospective pilgrims and accredited Hajj agents to expedite payments and complete all preparatory procedures within the stipulated timeline.
In its commitment to facilitating a seamless Hajj experience, the Taskforce has implemented measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring their passports with ease.
The statement signed by Alhaji Collins Dauda, chairman, 2025 Hajj Task Force urged Hajj agents to take advantage of this initiative to streamline the process for their clients.
Meanwhile, the taskforce recently announced a significant reduction in the 2025 Hajj package fee from GH¢ 75,000 to GH¢62,000 offering the much needed financial relief to potential pilgrims.
The statement said the Taskforce remains dedicated to providing world-class services, ensuring that all Ghanaian pilgrims enjoy a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling.
Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam.
Muslims who have the means are encouraged to perform Hajj at least once in their life time.
The recent reduction was in fulfilment of President John Mahama’s pledge to make the religious rite affordable.
The 2025 is expected to take place from 8th of Dhul Hijjah to till 13 of Dhul Hijjah, in other words from June 4 to June 9 in the Gregorian Calendar.
