At an engagement with the Eastern Regional media, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has underscored his commitment to a politics of delivery, not empty rhetoric, and highlighted tangible results from his leadership.
“Ghana doesn’t need more talk, it needs work. Ideas are important, but without action they are just words in the wind. While others are still discussing what could be done, I am already doing it. I believe in delivering results you can see, touch, and feel, because our people deserve progress, not promises,” Dr. Acheampong told journalists.
He explained that his campaign will be a campaign of ideas in action, but not ideas left on paper. He stressed that throughout his public service, he has consistently translated vision into tangible results and taken bold decisions to address real challenges.
Citing a recent example when he was Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Acheampong pointed to the cancellation of the cocoa syndication loan, a bold policy design he championed, which is already yielding benefits for Ghana.
“This decision has saved the country significant costs, strengthened our financial position, and demonstrated that with courage and clarity, we can chart our own course,” he said. Recently COCOBOD announced that international cocoa buyers have sent over $4 billion for it to start the 2025/26 season.
“This means farmers will get paid on time and the country won’t need big loans like before”. Dr. Bryan Acheampong highlighted.
Dr. Bryan Acheampong also highlighted his strength as a bold leader unafraid to clean up the swamp, both in governance and within his own party, to ensure integrity, discipline and a renewed focus on service to the people.
Dr. Acheampong reaffirmed that his leadership style was rooted in decisive action, measurable outcomes and a deep commitment to the welfare of Ghanaians.
He announced that in the coming days, he will commence a nationwide tour, beginning in the Eastern Region, to engage directly with communities, share his vision and listen to the priorities of the people.
“This tour is about connecting with Ghanaians where they live and work, understanding their needs and showing them that leadership is about doing, not just talking,” he added.
The Bryan Acheampong campaign remains committed to building a united party that will focus on a prosperous Ghana through practical solutions, strategic investments and unwavering service.
