Some news portals have published stories accusing the NDC officer of advising the youth of the party to spill blood as we prepare for the 2020 polls.
However, the NDC youth in its statement described the statement as false and an agenda to denigrate political opponents.
"We wish to state emphatically that the story is a fabrication mischievously concocted by the portal. President John Dramani Mahama will win the 2020 Presidential Polls on the strength of his superior vision and the resilience of the NDC under the Leadership of Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo.
The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress and by extension the party itself, believes in press freedom and supports the work of hardworking journalists. What we will not tolerate are works of fake news and media machinations against the party, our leadership and our members. We will continue to support all pressmen and provide credible information pertaining to our activities. We expect the media to reciprocate our goodwill by publishing accurate information,” it said.
