The head coach of Swedru All Blacks, Ahmed Fathy, was full of praise for his players on Sunday after their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The All Blacks players on the matchday showed a lot of resilience from start to finish, even coming from behind at one point to secure all three points.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ahmed Fathy disclosed that he was impressed with the fighting spirit of his players, adding that he hopes it continues in upcoming games.
“A lot of congratulations to my players, they are warriors, and they worked so hard, and this is the result. For me, it’s great. It’s been a long time since we could not win away, and today we have done. I hope it will continue like this,” Ahmed Fathy said.
Sunday’s win has given All Blacks head coach Ahmed Fathy some breathing space, having recently come under pressure after supporters called for his sacking.
He must ensure the team finds consistency in upcoming matches to win back the love and support of the fans.
