Swedru All Blacks head coach Ahmed Fathy has expressed his delight after the team’s hard-fought 3-2 victory over Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Before the Week 11 encounter today, the team from Swedru had failed to win any of their last five away matches.
With coach Ahmed Fathy coming under massive pressure in the last few matches, he needed to ensure his team bagged all three points in the game against Dreams FC, and he delivered.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the Egyptian tactician heaped praise on his players for fighting to claim their first away win of the 2025/26 league campaign.
“A lot of congratulations to my players, they are warriors, and they worked so hard, and this is the result. For me, it’s great. It’s been a long time since we could not win away, and today we have done. I hope it will continue like this,” Ahmed Fathy said.
After the win against Dreams FC, All Blacks now sit 11th in the Ghana Premier League standings. Dreams FC follow closely in 12th position.
