Black Stars forward Kamaldeen Sulemana says the South Korea side Ghana defeated at the 2022 World Cup has evolved significantly, making Tuesday’s friendly a tougher challenge.
He believes the opposition has improved since their 3-2 loss in Qatar.
Ghana enters the match seeking a strong response after last week’s 2-0 defeat to Japan.
Otto Addo’s men also hope to close the November international window on a positive note as they build towards next year’s World Cup.
Sulemana stressed that the current Korean squad presents new dynamics compared to the group they faced two years ago.
“It's a different team than we played against a few years ago,” he said ahead of the encounter.
He acknowledged the quality within Myung-bo Hong’s side but insisted the Black Stars retain the talent to secure a result.
“I know they also have different players. It's going to be a tough game for us, but I also think we can beat them,” he noted.
“I think we've got the quality to beat them. We are going to try to do that. We are very excited to be here,” he added.
The Black Stars take on South Korea on November 18 as they round off their final preparations for 2025 and shift focus toward next year’s World Cup campaign.
