Egyptian tactician Ahmed Fathy is set to be relieved of his duties as the head coach Swedru All Blacks following a poor start to the Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Swedru-based outfit, who made a return to the Ghanaian top-flight after 16-year absence has been unimpressive since the commencement of the 2025/26 league season, recording two wins, two draws and six defeats from the initial 10 matches.
Currently, Swedru All Blacks find themselves in the relegation drop after ten matches into the domestic top-flight. Out of the possible 30 points, the Premier League returnees has only managed eight points under the Egyptian coach.
Prior to their game against Hearts of Oak, the club supporters had called for the sacking of their coach. Following stalemate against the Phobians, the leadership of the Swedru-based outfit are said to be considering the Egyptian trainer's sacking in the coming days.
The 39-year-old joined the Swedru-based side on a permanent deal as part of the club’s broader restructuring effort to improve technical direction and performance.
Ahmed Fathy arrived from Egypt with a growing reputation for his tactical discipline and modern coaching approach, but his spell has been unimpressive so far.
Meanwhile, Kasim Mingle, who recently severed ties with Nations FC is said to be in line for Swedru All Blacks coaching job.
