Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have announced the appointment of experienced tactician Kobina Amissah as their new head coach.
The coach is taking over from Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway, who was sacked on Monday, November 3.
The decision to relieve the former coach of his duties became necessary after a series of bad results in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Under Desmond-Issah Botchway, Bechem United only managed one win in eight matches, drawing three, and losing the other four.
In a bid to turn things around, the management of the Hunters have recruited coach Kobina Amissah to lead the team.
“The wait is over! The experienced gaffer KOBINA AMISSAH is now officially at the helm as our Head Coach!
“Let’s welcome him and get ready for an exciting journey ahead,” Bechem United announced in a post on X.
