Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has hailed the World Cup Bonanza partnership with the National Lottery Authority and Rambell as a groundbreaking step in honouring Ghanaian football supporters.
Speaking at the official launch at the GFA Headquarters in Accra, Mr Okraku said the initiative reflects the Association’s commitment to recognising the passion and loyalty of fans who have stood by the national team through every campaign.
"Having ensured that Ghana will be at the Mundial, it’s important for us at the FA not to think about ourselves but about the country, especially the 12th man," he said.
"We didn’t qualify alone, and we cannot go to the World Cup alone. The supporters must come with us. With the full support of the NLA and our partners at Rambell, we now have an amazing opportunity to bring our fans along on this incredible journey."
The World Cup Bonanza campaign promises to give 220 Ghanaian fans an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Okraku described the initiative as “a proud moment for Ghana football” that will unite the country behind the national team.
Ghana secured qualification for their fifth World Cup in October following victory in their final qualifying match against Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium.
