Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has announced a 20-man travelling squad for the crucial return leg of their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club.
The Porcupine Warriors will head to Casablanca with determination to overturn a narrow 1-0 deficit suffered in the first leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium last week.
A second half strike from the visitors condemned Kotoko to defeat, leaving them with an uphill task ahead of the reverse fixture at the iconic Mohamed V Stadium on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Goalkeepers Aziz Haruna Dari and Benjamin Twum have been named for the trip after first choice Mohammed Camara was sent off in the first leg.
The defensive unit features the likes of Patrick Asiedu, Zackaria Fuseini, Francis Acquah, Samba O’Neil, and Joseph Amoah.
In midfield, Zito has included experienced names such as Lord Hillary Adabo, Gyau Hubert, and Fuseini Walid Neymar, alongside young talents Amidu Peter and Inusah Adams.
Up front, Guinean forward Donzo Morifing and Amoah Albert will lead the attack as Kotoko aim to find the goals that could secure progression to the next round.
Kotoko will need a strong performance and improved efficiency in front of goal if they are to upset the Moroccan champions on their own turf and keep their continental dreams alive.
