The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the appointment of Samuel Anim Addo as Vice Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee (NJC).
Anim Addo, a seasoned football administrator and former Executive Council member of the GFA, moves into the new role after previously serving as the 2nd Vice Chairman of the committee.
He will now support Joe Salam Abubakar, who has been elevated to Chairman of the NJC following the exit of President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku from the position.
The appointment is seen as a continuation of Anim Addo’s long-standing involvement in grassroots football.
He has been instrumental in building structures for juvenile football across the country, working with academies, regional associations, and youth competitions to unearth and develop young talents.
His experience within football administration and player management is expected to provide the NJC with stronger leadership in shaping policies and implementing programmes for juvenile football.
The NJC remains central to Ghana’s football development, overseeing the growth of youth competitions and serving as the foundation for producing the next generation of national team players.
Anim Addo’s role as Vice Chairman is expected to add continuity and stability to the committee’s work.
