Manchester United and several of England’s elite clubs are preparing to reignite their interest in AFC Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo following his explosive start to the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian winger has picked up where he left off last campaign, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his first five league matches. His pace, directness, and tireless work rate have made him Bournemouth’s standout performer under Andoni Iraola, despite the club losing several key players over the summer.
Semenyo, who enjoyed a career-best 13 goals and seven assists last season, was heavily courted by Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Arsenal during the last transfer window. United boss Ruben Amorim is reported to have met with the player, though the club eventually prioritised deals for Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
TEAMtalk reports that while Bournemouth successfully fended off approaches in the summer, Semenyo’s form has kept him firmly on the radar of top clubs, with a fresh transfer battle expected in 2026.
The Cherries, however, remain firm that they will not entertain bids in January, and with Semenyo tied to a new long-term contract, prising him away from the Vitality Stadium will not be straightforward.
