Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says his side must keep playing and winning matches to sharpen their efficiency in front of goal.
Reflecting on the Phobians’ narrow 1-0 victory over Dreams FC, Dramani acknowledged that although his team secured all three points, their attacking play still needs to be more ruthless.
Two matches into the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts have registered one win and a draw, and the coach insists only sustained competition will help build the self-belief his forwards require.
“Being more clinical in front of goal means a lot. We need that confidence of creating three chances and making all, creating four and making three,” he told the club’s media after the match.
“You need games, you need wins to be able to intensify this aspect, and I believe that with consistency and sustainable approaches we will get there gradually once the league is on.”
Hearts of Oak will hope to continue their steady start to the season when they host Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 26 at 17:00 GMT.
