Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is one of three Hearts of Oak players named in the Team of the Week for Week 2 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The other players include Raphael Amponsah and Hussein Mohammed.
Asare on Monday started in post for the Phobians and made some amazing saves to help the side secure a 1-0 win against Dreams FC for their first three points of the new league campaign.
On the matchday, Raphael Amponsah was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in midfield for Hearts of Oak.
Hussein Mohammed, on the other hand, had a brilliant game and netted the only goal to secure the win against Dreams FC.
The Hearts of Oak trio are joined by Jacob Boazee, Ruben Hennessey, Zayat Bubakari, Zaidan Mohammed, Samuel Fosu Boateng, Kelvin Nkrumah, Hansen Amponsah, and Rudold Mensah Jnr to form the Ghana Premier League Team of the Week for Week 2.
