The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has noted that he wants his team to dominate all their matches in the 2025/26 football season.
The Tarkwa-based side opened their campaign in the new Ghana Premier League last Sunday with a clash against Young Apostles.
The team dominated the opponent for most parts of the game and secured a 2-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of Week 2, Ibrahim Tanko disclosed that he has intentionally set up his team to dominate games.
“We always want to have the ball. We want to dictate the play. This is what we worked for throughout preseason, and I think it will work for us,” the Medeama coach said in an interview with Medi TV.
Meanwhile, the coach has assured that his team is keen on beating Vision FC next weekend to make it two wins out of two in the Ghana Premier League.
“We are very ready. The team in our last game fought together to get the three points. We are coming home, and the supporters should come in their numbers. They are going to see good football, and hopefully, we will get the three points. That’s the plan,” Tanko said.
