Nations FC will be eager to bounce back from last season’s frustrations when they welcome newly-promoted Swedru All Blacks to the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese on Sunday to kick off their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
After finishing outside the Top 4 in the previous campaign, Nations head into the new season seeking consistency and a stronger push for continental qualification.
However, their pre-season form has been far from convincing, with defeats to Medeama SC and Dreams FC in the Nsenkyire Cup leaving head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle with plenty to ponder.
The inability to find the back of the net in those outings remains a concern the hosts must address quickly if they are to make a statement in the league opener.
All Blacks, on the other hand, return to the Ghanaian topflight after a 16-year absence.

Forward Rudolf Mensah, who netted 27 goals in 30 matches last season, will be the key man to watch as the Black and Whites look to cause an upset in Abrankese.
