Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has expressed readiness ahead of the start of his career at Italian outfit Fiorentina.
The Black Stars right-back inked a four-year deal to join La Viola before the international break from English side Brighton and Hove Albion.
Lamptey joined his new teammates on Thursday as preparations intensify for the big game against champions Napoli.
The former Chelsea youth player took to social media to post: "Day 1. New chapter, same focus. Excited for what’s ahead."
Lamptey arrives in Italy with huge experience, having made over 100 appearances in the Premier League while also featuring in the Europa League with the Seagulls two seasons ago.
His decision to join Fiorentina is believed to have been motivated by consistent game time which was limited during his time under Fabian Hurzeler.
The 24-year-old is expected to make his debut for the Italian outfit on Saturday at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
Lamptey was part of Ghana's squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali, but was an unused substitute in both games.
