
Midfielder Kofi Tompuo has received his prize for emerging the overall best player at Bechem United for the 2024/25 season.
Ahead of the start of the new season, the Hunters held their prestigious dinner and awards gala to reward outstanding performers from the previous campaign.
Tompuo, who starred for the Bechem-based club last season, received a citation and a 32-inch smart television for his exploits.
The hardworking midfielder thanked his teammates and the leadership of the club for recognizing his efforts while also pledging to give his best ahead of the new season.
Other awardees on the night were Isaiah Nyarko, who received the prize for the most hardworking and dedicated player with Emmanuel Abban named best forward at the club.
Boa-at Regan received the best midfielder award with Yaw Acheampong named the best defender.
Part of the activities before the awards night was a community engagement exercise with the players and people of Bechem.
Bechem United has signed new players including former Ghana U17 star Aminu Mohammed and rounded up preparations with a pre-season friendly win against Kwadaso Sampdoria.
The former FA Cup winners will begin the new season with a trip to champions Bibiani GoldStars.
