Wilson Arthur has given football fans across Ghana reasons to smile as he outlined how match commentary will reach every corner of the country in the new Ghana Premier League season.
Speaking about the much-anticipated clash between Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko, he explained how coverage will be rolled out to ensure no supporter is left behind. His words highlighted the importance of building connections through football, even for those far from the stadiums.
78 radio stations nationwide have secured accreditation to rebroadcast live commentary of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. This was made possible through GhSportsLive, marking a new chapter for local coverage.
"Berekum Chelsea against Asante Kotoko will play at the Golden City Park there will be commentary. We will start the build up 2:45 3pm then we kick off but Gold Stars will be playing Bechem at the same time so we will have someone there who will give us live updates," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com.
"He will give us pictures before and also give us pictures when there is a goal or there is an incident that is worth significant at least we will hear from them four five times before the match ends. Even though you will be listening to Kotoko and whatever will go on in Gold Stars at Duns Park we will let you know,"
Accra Hearts of Oak will open the campaign on Friday evening against new boys Hohoe United.
