The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced plans to organise a one-day capacity-building workshop for Premier League Marketing and Media Officers on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, as part of preparations for the upcoming season.
The interactive programme is designed to strengthen the skills of club officers in three key areas: improving match promotion and publicity strategies, enhancing marketing and fan engagement techniques, and developing effective matchday activation plans.
A team of GFA experts will lead the discussions, offering practical insights and modern approaches to help clubs boost visibility, connect more effectively with their fan base, and deliver improved matchday experiences.
The Association believes that building capacity in these critical areas will not only elevate the standards of the league but also drive greater interest and support from fans and stakeholders. The workshop also aligns with the GFA’s broader agenda of strengthening the commercial and media operations of clubs to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
The initiative comes just days before the official kickoff of the 2025/26 Premier League season, underscoring the GFA’s commitment to holistic preparation on and off the pitch.
