Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has completed a season-long loan move to Bologna from Atalanta, with the deal including an option to buy.
The 22-year-old, who joined Atalanta from Hellas Verona in 2023, will now continue his development under Bologna’s new manager Vincenzo Italiano, as the club prepares for a busy season that includes participation in the UEFA Europa League.
Sulemana is highly regarded for his energy, ball-winning ability, and versatility in midfield, attributes that could prove valuable for a Bologna side aiming to maintain their momentum after last season’s impressive run.
His move also offers him the chance to gain consistent playing time at the top level, which could enhance his prospects with the Black Stars ahead of future international assignments.
Bologna’s fans will be eager to see how the young Ghanaian adapts in Italiano’s system as he seeks to leave his mark in Serie A and European competition.
