Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew is among the first players to arrive in Ghana ahead of the next round of games in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Leicester City striker is one of 24 players named by Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, for the upcoming games in the qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
On Sunday night, Ayew touched down at the Kotoka International Airport, looking poised for the crucial games.
Other Black Stars players spotted at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday, besides Jordan Ayew, include Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Tetteh Anang, Elisha Owusu, Jonas Adjetey, and Gideon Mensah.
The six players will be joined by the other invited players at the Black Stars camp in Accra on Monday, when coach Otto Addo supervises his first training session ahead of the games against Chad and Mali.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches will be played on September 4 and 8, respectively.
Ghana, currently top of Group I with 15 points, aim to win the two matches to secure early qualification to the World Cup.
