
The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S. Okraku, has extended warm congratulations to Asante Kotoko Sporting Club on the occasion of their 90th anniversary.
Founded in 1935, the Porcupine Warriors are 90 years old today, Sunday, August 31.
In his message to Asante Kotoko on behalf of the Ghana FA and the entire football fraternity, Kurt Okraku wished the club more success in the coming years.
“On behalf of the Ghana Football Association and the entire football fraternity, I wish to extend warm congratulations to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club on the occasion of your Anniversary, commemorating your founding.
“As you celebrate this milestone, we salute your tradition, resilience, and immense contribution to the development of football in Ghana. We also wish you the very best as you embark on your journey in the CAF Confederation Cup, having won the FA Cup as reigning champions.
“May the years ahead bring even greater glory to the club, its players, technical team, management, supporters, and the entire Kotoko family. Long live Asante Kotoko! Long live Ghana Football,” Kurt Okraku said in a statement shared on the Ghana FA website.
