Former Asante Kotoko centre-back Nurudeen Yussif Mohammed has returned to Real Tamale United, this time in the Access Bank Division One League.
The experienced defender, who featured for Karela United in last season’s Ghana Premier League, is making his way back to Tamale, where he previously established himself as a reliable figure in defence.
Yussif’s return is seen as a huge boost for RTU, who are determined to bounce back strongly after their relegation from the top flight. His wealth of experience in the Premier League is expected to add solidity and leadership to the squad as they prepare for the Division One campaign.
RTU fans will be hoping his arrival sparks a resurgence and helps guide the club back to the Ghana Premier League.
