The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has renewed the mandate of Daniel Boateng as chairman of the national U-15 Boys Management Committee.
The FA announced the decision in an official statement on Thursday, August 21, indicating that Mr. Boateng will continue in his role following a successful tenure in overseeing the development of the team’s programs.
According to the GFA statement, Boateng’s leadership will this time be complemented by Gabriel Godwin Kwao, Vice Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, who will serve as his deputy.
The two are expected to work closely to drive the FA’s vision of strengthening youth football at the grassroots level.
Other members of the committee include Rev. Samuel Kotoka of the Eastern Regional Football Association, Dr. Perigrine Pearce-Person of the Western Regional Football Association and Albert K. Badohu.
“The retention of Daniel Boateng and the inclusion of respected football administrators is seen as a strong statement of the Association’s commitment to continuity and stability in the nurturing of young talents,” the GFA said in its statement confirming the decision to stick with Mr. Boateng.
Meanwhile, the Ghana FA has stressed that youth development remains a top priority for the association.
The FA is backing the Management Committee to play a crucial role in ensuring that the U-15 program produces technically gifted and disciplined players who can shine on the national and international stage.
