Tanzanian champions Young Africans SC (Yanga SC) have officially completed the signing of Ghanaian centre-back Frank Kwabena Assinki on a season-long loan from Singida Black Stars.
The 22-year-old defender will spend the 2025-26 campaign with Yanga, who will cover his full wages during the loan spell.
The move is seen as a major boost for the Jangwani giants as they prepare for a demanding season across domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League.
Assinki, who is widely admired for his aerial strength, composure, and commanding defensive presence, has been a standout performer for Singida in the Tanzanian Premier League.
The Ghanaian international was part of the Black Satellites squad that won the 2021 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania. He also played for the Ghana U23 national team.
He began his career with Inter Allies FC in Ghana before moving abroad to Danish side HB Koge. He enjoyed loan spells at Roskilde KFUM and Elite Falcons in the UAE.
With the deal now sealed, Assinki becomes Yanga’s latest reinforcement as they continue to strengthen their squad for both local dominance and a strong push on the continental stage.
