Real Tamale United (RTU) are set to see five of their players depart for Turkey this morning as they prepare to undergo trials with a German club currently holding its pre-season camp in Europe.
The move, facilitated by RTU Chief Executive Officer Zakaria Safianu, forms part of the club’s efforts to create international exposure and opportunities for its players.
The trial program is expected to give the selected players the chance to impress the technical handlers of the German side and potentially secure professional contracts abroad.
RTU, who battled hard to maintain their Ghana Premier League status last season, view this initiative as a strategic step not only to reward hard-working players but also to strengthen the club’s image as a platform for talent development and exports.
The players, whose names are yet to be disclosed, will join the German outfit’s camp during their pre-season training in Turkey, where they will be closely monitored in both friendly matches and training sessions.
Club officials remain optimistic that the trial will yield positive results, further underlining RTU’s role as a breeding ground for promising talent in Ghana football.
